Hi, my name is Cie Harris and I have had wolfhounds since 1969 with my " hippie" hound Jude Kerry of Ballykelly as my first hound. When Jude passed away, it was nearly 20 years before I was able to have another wolfhound. My beloved Flash came to live with me in 1992. Ch. Allodar's Flashy Rogue. He was soon followed by Dixie (Ch. Brimstone Shenanigan Dixie) in '94, then Bailebrae Opollo Skywalker in '96, and Stoneybrook Leia Skywalker in 97. I began breeding in 1998.
I am former president of the Irish Wolfhound Club of Puget Sound and have been devoted to the breed and thats how this magazine evolved. I wanted to see dogs from all over the world and see what others were doing in their breeding programs. I wanted to learn as much as I could about health protocols and raising hounds. I didn't see what I wanted in just one magazine so I took the plunge and started the Irish Wolfhound International Magazine. It has been greatly received and I continue to strive to make it better. I hope you consider the magazine and will be a regular contributor.
